Holy Nazi zombies Batman! This movie had more blood, intestines, Nazis, and savage killing than you could shake a stick at! The Norwegians really know their horror.
Basically, this is a trashy zombie slasher flick, filled to the brim with everything mentioned above. Think Evil Dead and you’re on the right track. Not for the weak stomachs, or for those who can’t find the humour in 6 teens going for a weekend camping trip in the mountains only to be slaughtered by pissed off Nazis who just want their gold back.
Because this is a funny movie. Not only are some of the lines really great (all English subtitled, of course) but the violence and horror are taken to their extremes that you can’t help but laugh that a zombie can split someone’s head open with their hands, and the victim’s entire brain falls to the floor. Good stuff!
I went home and dreamt about zombies after this one. Not Nazi zombies, the regular kind. This movie makes me more excited to see Zombieland.
